This monumental facsimile edition celebrates the graphic legacy of Mexican printmaker José Guadalupe Posada, featuring 406 of his iconic engravings. Compiled and first published in 1930 with a passionate introduction by Diego Rivera, the book captures Posada’s biting social commentary, satirical edge, and visual poetry. His engravings — mocking the bourgeoisie, honoring the spirit of revolution, and immortalizing folk tales — cemented his influence on generations of Mexican artists. This 1991 edition was printed in tribute to Posada by institutions including the Instituto de Artes Gráficas de Oaxaca and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
